New York State Blue Ribbon School

In November of 2025, Ballet Tech – The NYC Public School for Dance was recognized by the New York State Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School. We are honored to be recognized alongside 18 other NY schools who demonstrate remarkable academic excellence, innovation, equity, and opportunity for every student.

NYCPSD discovers and develops exceptional dancers from across all five borough, regardless of prior training or economic background. Through our unique partnership between the Ballet Tech Foundation & NYCPS, we combine rigorous academic excellence with pre-professional dance training. By providing world-class dance education to those with passion and potential, we cultivate individual artistry and create pathways to success in high school and beyond.
